Aroma House is a new North Indian and Indo-Chinese restaurant in JP Nagar 7th Phase close to Brigade Millennium. The place was opened in the beginning to February and has been serving since. The seating arrangement comprises of a few colorful tables and chairs. The restaurant works on a serve serve model. The menu here comprises of North Indian, Chinese, Sandwiches, shakes/mocktails and so on.
1) Tandoori Platter – The Tandoori Platter at Aroma House comprises of Tandoori Stuffed Aloo, Malai Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Mushrooms, Veg Seekh Kebab and Paneer Tikka served with green chutney. Each of these items had a unique taste and had incorporated the smoky flavors of the tandoor. The Malai Paneer Tikka needs a special mention as it was creamy and cheesy. On the other hand, the Tandoori Mushrooms were smoky and spicy. The Tandoori Stuffed Aloo are bite sized potatoes filled with paneer, dry fruits and raisins. It was incredible. The Veg Seekh Kebab are deep fried kebab with a variety of vegetables.
2) Veg Chowmein – The Veg Chowmein comprises of thin noodles tossed in with vegetables and Chinese sauces. This Indo-Chinese combination was spicy that’s the very reason we loved it so much. This is indeed a true street food!
3) Aloo Jeera – The Aloo Jeera here is nothing less than legendary. This simple recipe has a lot of cumin seeds and coriander leaves on top of the aloo dish. Try it out with the Butter Naan and be amazed. The butter naan was fluffy and you can make out the different layers in it make the whole experience worthwhile.
